초록

본 연구의 목적은 결혼이주여성의 결혼생활 경험을 통하여 생활 실태를 파악하고 이들의 정책적 요구를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 결혼이주여성 12명을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 하고 질적연구인 현상학적 연구방법을 통해 가정에서의 역할, 출산 및 돌봄, 취업 및 경제활동, 사회적 환경으로 의미를 도출하였다.
그 결과 첫째, 가정에서 성역할이 적절하게 분배되지 않았다. 둘째, 결혼이주여성은 자녀를 출산하면서 자녀돌봄에 적극적인 모습을 보였다. 셋째, 결혼이주여성은 취업을 통해 경제활동에 참여하고 싶어했다. 넷째, 결혼이주여성은 사회적 자본을 구축하고 활용하고자 했다. 이런 결혼생활 실태를 바탕으로 결혼이주여성은 가정에서의 역할분담에 대해 남편들에게 교육이 필요하다고 느꼈으며, 자녀돌봄 서비스 확대 및 육아정보가 제공되길 바라고 있었다. 또한 결혼이주여성이 안정적으로 경제활동을 할 수 있도록 정책지원과 사회적 자본이 구축, 활용될 수 있는 정책이 마련되기를 요구하였다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해 결혼이주여성 정책 방향의 기초자료가 되길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the living conditions of married immigrant women through their experiences in marriage life, identify their policy needs, and reflect them in policies.
To do this, an in-depth interview was conducted with 12 married migrant women, and meanings were derived from roles at home, childbirth and care, employment and economic activities, and social environment through phenomenological research methods.
As a result, first, gender roles were not properly distributed in the family. Second, married migrant women showed active child care while giving birth to children. Third, married migrant women wanted to participate in economic activities through employment. Fourth, married migrant women tried to build and utilize social capital. Based on this marital status, married migrant women felt that they needed to educate their husbands on the division of roles at home, and hoped to expand child care services and provide information on childcare. It also called for policy support and policies to be established and utilized by social capital so that marriage immigrants can stably engage in economic activities. Through such research, it is expected to serve as basic data for the policy direction of marriage migrant women.
